Welcome to Forest Lodge: our house rules

To ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful and memorable stay at Forest Lodge, we have a few simple house rules. These guidelines help us maintain a safe, respectful, and harmonious environment for all our guests, our animals, and the beautiful surroundings.

Important information for a smooth stay

At Forest Lodge, we believe clear communication makes for the best experiences. Below, you will find answers to frequently asked questions about your visit, covering everything from check-in to how to interact with our farm. We've compiled this information to help you feel at home and enjoy your time with us to the fullest.

What do I wear?

  • Wellington boots are ideal (and easy to clean!). We strongly recommend not wearing sandals, flipflops or crocs!
  • Please dress to the weather and wear comfortable clothing.
  • Please avoid block blue and dangly earrings

Are there specific rules for interacting with the farm or animals?

For the safety of our guests and our animals, please do not feed any animals unless explicitly instructed by a staff member. Always keep a respectful distance and avoid approaching animals without supervision. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when in areas with animals or near farm equipment. Please wash your hands thoroughly after any interaction with animals.
